I am a runner and its great. Give it a while though. You’ll start to notice the fat gong away. It may seem like ur not losing weight becasue you’ll be burning the fat but gaining a lot of muscle. first try running on a daily basis to burn ur fat..then pump up some steel..its the trick

use your own body weight and do push ups , chin ups , crunches and stretching
